It’s hard to sum up the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on our lives in just a few words. Over the past couple of years—especially in 2024—we’ve seen AI evolve from something out of sci-fi movies into a real, tangible part of everyday life. It’s been reshaping industries, boosting efficiency, and making our lives smarter in ways we couldn’t have imagined not too long ago. From OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Sora, and Google Gemini’s integration into our phones to AI into almost every other aspect of our lives. The buzz of AI has been alive.
But as we step into 2025, the role of AI is set to grow even more impactful. From business operations to healthcare and personalised experiences, AI is evolving rapidly. News9Live has talked to several AI experts and here are five key AI trends to watch out for in 2025.
In 2025, AI is expected to redefine how companies work. Advait Kumar, Founder of Boon, believes AI will play a crucial role in helping businesses predict trends, optimise processes, and reduce risks. “AI will allow companies to stay ahead by offering predictive insights and helping them manage resources more efficiently,” says Kumar. He believes that AI will manage energy use and cut emissions in industries like logistics and manufacturing.
The workplace is transforming, and AI is at the centre of it. Lokesh Nigam, Co-founder and CEO of Konverz.ai sees AI becoming the backbone of more adaptable, people-focused workplaces. “AI is revolutionizing HR, automating repetitive tasks and enabling data-driven decisions.. 38% of HR leaders have already explored AI solutions to improve HR operations. Looking forward, AI will become a foundation for efficiency, innovation, and sustainability. It will transform workforce planning, empowering employees to thrive in adaptable workplaces,” Nigam shares.
Imagine having AI agents that can handle tasks independently, without constant human intervention. Vijay Navaluri, Co-Founder of Supervity, predicts this will become a reality in 2025.
“These agents can handle tasks like managing workflows, processing service requests, and automating administrative processes without constant human supervision. By integrating step-by-step reasoning, these agents will reduce operational bottlenecks and support business scalability. The adoption of multimodal AI Agents, capable of interpreting text, images, audio, and video simultaneously, is set to redefine user experiences,” explains Navaluri.
Healthcare is one of the sectors where AI is making the most significant impact and it will continue in 2025. Surjeet Thakur, Founder & CEO of TrioTree Technologies, highlights India’s booming AI healthcare market, which is expected to grow to $1.6 billion by 2025. “This growth is part of the broader AI boom, with the overall AI market in India expected to reach $8 billion by 2025, growing at a CAGR of over 40% from 2020 to 2025. AI is anticipated to add $25–30 billion to India’s GDP by 2025,” says Thakur.
From personalized shopping experiences to smarter search tools, AI is becoming part of our daily lives. Advait Kumar notes that AI is making consumer interactions more intuitive and customized. For instance, AI makes it easier to retrieve data using simple language queries, AI is offering recommendations that fit individual preferences better than ever before.
“The AI of tomorrow promises a future that’s not only advanced but also more aligned with what customers truly need,” Kumar says.
While these are just a few predictions by AI experts in the world of AI. What else does the future hold will be exciting to witness in the next year
